Join one of the fastest growing sports in the nation. . Plano Junior Lacrosse is dedicated to our mission to create a safe, competitive atmosphere to play the game of lacrosse. Our intent is to teach young players how to play the game and equip players with the knowledge and skills to become as successful as possible.

The Plano Jr. Lax seeks to teach the game of lacrosse to beginners as well as seasoned players. We encourage those who have no experience at all.

Players will learn and improve their skills twice a week through team drills, practices, and scrimmages. Practices will take place  2 - 3 per week on fields in Plano.  Teams should expect to play 10 games on either week nights and/or weekend days. Tournaments and Jamborees are available as well after the regular season for an additional nominal fee to cover tournament/jamboree entry fees.

Fall is the traditional “off-season” for lacrosse.  Plano is unique among neighboring towns in offering “Fallball”.  Our Fall programs are geared to having fun and improving individual skills.  Games are developemental, with minimal contact.  Coaches are drawn from the ranks, of parents, local college players, and Plano Jr. Lacrosse youth program graduates who now play for High Schools and Univeristies.  Fall is the perfect season to try the game on for size and to prepare yourself for the main Spring Season.

Fall Lacrosse offers an off season of learning, conditioning, and light competition on Saturday or Sunday afternoons. Boys programs are offered for grades 1 through 8 and girls programs are offered for grades 4 through 8. Fall is the perfect season for young men and women who are first-timers to develop their skills and see how they enjoy the game. It is also a great opportunity for experienced players to improve their game and work on new moves.  Fallball begins the first Saturday after Labor Day.

Each Player is Responsible for their own insurance and Equipment

Boys Equipment: helmet, stick, shoulder pads, glves, elbow pads, mouthpiece and cleats

Girls Equipment: stick, goggles, gloves, mouthpiece and cleats
